The Hostess for the awards show was Jane Lynch from Glee. She did a pretty good job of hosting, was not to fond of the lesbian jokes.But before anyone gets affended I dont think awards shows are the place to make any sexual jokes keep them for late night and comedy shows.

 I am glad to see my favorite show Modern Family picked up so many Emmy's. Melissa McCarthy from Mike and Molly won her Emmy Best Actress for Comedy was very sweet in her acceptence speech. Loved to see that Margo Martindale won for best supporting actress for a drama series. Its nice to see actors that have been in the business for some time get awarded for their hard work in the business. My one gripe about the award shows , why do they not have a couple of men to help the ladies up the stairs to the stage. These ladies usally are wearing very long dresses ,high heels, dresses with trains come on how do they not see this? The memorium was very well done, it is sad to see all the talent and wonderful people we lost the past year. The Candian 4 Tenors sang Haleluja during the memorium very nice.

Big suprise to see and hear Charley Sheen act like a nice guy again. I am sure everyone was waiting for him to bash Two and Half  Men and the people that were there and CBS, he was very respectful. Maybe he is getting help with his problems. Maybe Charley is really winning this time. Well the award shows have started can hardly wait for The Academy Awards.

Sitting at my Pity Party

Sitting here there are no balloons, no cake ,no Lady GaGa singing in the back ground. Just me 48 year old male thinking what the hell have I been doing and why have I been doing Real Estate for the last five years? Why are you sticking with it in 2010 one of the worst years in history for the real estate profession. Good questions and I am not sure why? I have always done ok in this field, not a super top producer but I have always worked very hard for my clients and they were different then. Now its a whole different ball game with peoples attitudes, bank attitudes,agent attitudes and asset manager attitudes who have no training when it comes to real estate.
So do  I stay or do I go? I am also a SAG actor. I put that on the back burner six years ago just when it was starting to go somewhere, to become Super agent man. So now I am thinking of starting again in the acting business. Nothing like going from one burning pot to another. I have been trying to keep a journal. I re read some things I wrote in June. In Big Letters I wrote: SET BIG CRAZY GOALS under that I had some actions for some goals they are as follows,
1. Believe in myself
2.Decide what I want
3.Visualize outcome
4.Create wish list
5.Design an Action Plan!!!
6. Understand the numbers
7. Schedule daily activities
8. Review Plan
9. Practice every day
10. Be responsible and accountable
11. Use other Successful People as role models.


My pity party is over for tonight...Tomorrow the theme for the party is not pity but
SET BIG CRAZY GOALS!
